Gerber axes are the toughest axes on the market today. Gerber's large sport axe has a forged steel head for durability and superior edge retention combined with a unique Polymid Fiberglass handle that is virtually indestructible. The handle is injection molded around the axe head to guarantee that it will never separate or come loose. There is a lanyard hole at the bottom of the handle. Overall 17 1/2", 5 3/4" Forged steel axe head finish with a 3 1/4" cutting edge.
